Native American Turquoise Ring - "Nevada Green" - sz 12

This is a piece picked up as Old Pawn and has a large blue-green turquoise stone with an attractive brown matrix. The green hue of the stone not only reminds me of what is commonly referred to as "Nevada green" turquoise (a color associated with many Nevada mines), but the shape of the stone resembles the outline of the state! (Sorry, but I do not know the origin of the mine, but it clearly looks to be American) The shank is heavy with some stamp work, along with deep grooves of shadowboxing - and makes an excellent ring for a man. American Indian made.
