Native American Earrings Spiney Oyster Slab w/ Turquoise

A richly colorful set of Native American earrings, these are Santo Domingo Indian made using purple spiney oyster shell and an inlay of sky-blue turquoise as a base. The backs of these earrings are the reverse side of the spiney oyster shell, as naturally occurring. The turquoise has been cut into the front side, and inlaid. Finished with a sterling silver bead and French wire. Native American artist Matthew Coriz.
