Real Butterfly Pendant - Dual Sided

These are the actual wings of a Peruvian butterfly species. The wings are preserved in glass showcases, for both front and back, encircled by highly polished sterling silver. The underside of these beautifully colored wings have an entirely different pattern, making this pendant truly double-sided. Quite unique - very cool. This butterfly peendant was handmade in Peru. The butterfly wings are harvested in the Amazon by trained Peruvian workers at end of the butterfly's natural life cycle. The wings are then preserved in glass and silver by local Peruvian artists. Butterfly wing jewelry is a unique and beautiful showpiece.
