Turquoise Jewelry Native American Silver Cuff&Ring Set-Old Pawn
These are a stunning pair of related pieces of Old Pawn jewelry, by artist Cheryl Rubi. The turquoise stone found on the cuff bracelet is an amazing deep and rich blue and extra-large in dimension, making it truly a rare find. Stones of this quality are simply not found today. Because it is a Pawn item, I was not able to determine the turquoise mine of origin, but it very strongly suggests that it is from the Bisbee Mine of Arizona, which was famous for its deep blues and "smoky" black matrix. This captivating turquoise stone is adorned by gold-gilded leaves on both sides of the cuff, and on a single side of the ring. The turquoise stone found on the ring is a smaller version of that on the cuff - possessing all of the rare beauty, just on a smaller scale (yet quite large in its own right). I hope these two pieces never part, or, at least, are never far apart - they are, indeed, museum-caliber American Indian jewelry pieces. Our belief, however, is that they should be gazed upon...while being worn!
